This portfolio presents a selection of my latest works in videography, ranging from documentary films to collaborations with musicians and small businesses. It reflects not only my academic path, but also the intercultural experiences that have shaped me as a filmmaker. During my Bachelor in Media Production at TH OWL University, with a specialization in Film Directing, I gained comprehensive knowledge in film production, cinematography, marketing, project management, programming, and media law. Yet it was documentary filmmaking that became my true focus: exploring people’s motivations across cultures with empathy and precision. My projects span from study-related productions in Norway and India to self-initiated works across Europe and North Africa — in Paris, the Normandy, the Peloponnese, and most recently Morocco. My graduation film, produced in Casablanca, the Atlas Mountains, and along Morocco’s Atlantic coast, became the culmination of this journey. It also inspired my written thesis: an intercultural communication model combining insights from psychology, empirical research, and documentary interview practice. Beyond filmmaking, I am drawn to entrepreneurship — building creative strategies, recognizing client needs, and translating them into strong visual communication. I see myself as a communicator and a connector: at times behind the camera as Director of Photography, at other times leading small documentary teams. Eight years of experience as a barista and wine seller have additionally strengthened my communication and service skills, teaching me how to shape relationships and navigate diverse teams. Raised in a French-German household, I move naturally between languages and cultural contexts. Through my work in Europe, India, and North Africa, I have developed a sensitivity for how culture, aesthetics, and storytelling intersect. This portfolio is both a record of these explorations and an invitation to collaborate on new projects that seek authenticity, clarity, and human connection.
